SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said recently that satellite internet service Starlink plans to be “fully mobile” by the end of the year. With Starlink being mobile, customers will be able to use it in moving vehicles or at different addresses.
In another statement, Musk said a beta version of Starlink would be released in the summer. In a statement, it has had more than 10,000 customers since the launch of “Better Than Nothing Beta” in October 2020. David Goldman, SpaceX’s director of satellite policy, said in a statement that it was in the public interest to use Starlink in different areas. SpaceX President Gywnne Shotwell said earlier this year that the internet price would be stable. In a statement, she said:” I don’t think we will incremental pricing for consumers. We will try to keep this as simple and transparent as possible, so there are currently no layering plans for consumers.”
