Giant Investment from Apple

Apple is opening its own center in Germany, as one of the world’s technology giants. For its headquarters, Germany will invest more than EUR 1 billion. The center is to be the principal center for chip design, which has been planned for establishment in the state of Bavaria, Germany.

The American technology giant Apple stated that it plans to open a European Center and set up a Bavarian, Germany center, according to Deutsche Welle news, which broadcasts in 30 different languages from Germany. The reason for the choice of the state of Bavaria is because it consists of the Bavarian research and development department. This section wishes to become a European Center for Chip Design.

For its European headquarters, Apple has announced plans to invest more than € 1 trillion. In 2019, Apple will have purchased Intel’s massive chip technology smartphone modem chip facility in Kircheim.And the facility they purchased became Europe’s largest development centre. The largest development center in Europe currently employs 1,500 engineers from 40 countries. In Germany, Apple employs about 4000 people.

Apple is not purchasing chips for the iPhone, iPad and Mac products from Intel and Qualcomm for the purpose of buying the Kircheim Intel smartphone modem chip. Apple’s own chips are also to be produced at the plant in Bavaria.

Apple has a 30,000-square-meter development center in the city center of Munich, one of the biggest German states, in addition to a development center in Kircheim.
