After the lawsuit, Rafael Quaresma, lawyer for Mariana Morales Oliveira, said, “Apple claimed at its launch that the use of plastic is a concern for the environment and protecting the world. In addition, an important point as a result of the lawsuit is that the court determined that Apple will deliver a charging adapter to the consumer free of charge within 10 days. If Apple fails to comply with this decision, it will have to pay a daily fine of R $200 ($38). If he refuses to pay again, he is obliged to pay up to the money limit of R$5,000 ($956).
