TSMC Keeps Breaking Records

In the first half of 2021, TSMC, the chip industry leader favoured by Apple and Intel, set a new sales record, surpassing total earnings in 2020.

TSMC, a Taiwanese business that has made significant efforts to tackle the chip crisis, stands out as the industry leader. The fact that the first half of 2021 exceeded the total earnings of the previous year had a significant influence on the technology industry.

The company’s revenue in June was $5.2 billion. In May, it was also around $4 billion. On a monthly basis, a 32 percent gain was obtained. There is a 22.8 percent increase in comparison to the same period previous year. A record revenue of $26 billion was achieved in the first six months of the year. 22 billion dollars in revenue were written in the first six months of last year. TSMC, the world’s first private semiconductor foundry, was founded in Taiwan in 1987 and has long been a market leader. Aside from semiconductors, the corporation has begun to invest in the lighting and solar industries. TSMC shares are also traded on the Taiwan Stock Exchange as well as the New York Stock Exchange. In addition, the firm is Apple’s and Intel’s largest manufacturer.

With its new facility that will start operating in the USA, TSMC will both maintain its leading position and start new mass production and increase its firm volume.
